What a day for football.........I've seen Michigan vs Ohio State, Nebraska vs Texas, Penn State vs Notre Dame, USC vs UCLA, and all I have to say is BYU vs Utah is perhaps the best rivalry game in college football. this game had it all, trick plays, personal fouls, late hits, trash talking, taunting and most of all DEFENSE DEFENSE AND MORE DEFENSE. If you have never been to a BYU vs Utah game you are missing one the best stories in sports. It was cool, 40* but the sun was out and both teams came to play. This was a dog fight and again it came to a last second touchdown from 11 yards out to give BYU the final go ahead score, but Utah fought until the last incomplete Hail Mary Pass to the endzone with no time left on the clock. Great effort by both teams but the Cougars were just to much for the Utes. GO COUGARS!!!!!!

Grandma's Funeral

Well after 84 years grandma has moved on. We will miss you but we will see you again.

Ginya's 39th Brithday

Well it happened, Virginia had her 39th Birthday.....how did she spend it, Well she slept---a lot, she had a cake, she worked, she went of for La Frontera nachos and she went to the movies....All in all it was a regular day except for the nachos and the movie. She would love to hear a birth day wish from anyone willing to remind her how OLD she is...... she didn't like it when I woke her up at 5am to tell her before I left for wrok, or when lauren woke her up at 6am to tell her or when Robert told her at 7am....she said we got her up early on purpose..and she was right....

Tooele 7 Jordan 18

Well another hartbreaker....Tooele led 7-6 at the half but wound up falling 7-18 to Jordan. The game was ours but Jordan made some great plays and some great catches in the second half.
Robert started again and plaayed a great game. He almots recovered a fumble in the first quarter. He straight dove for it but it was recovered by another Tooele player so it all came out good for the Buff's. After the game ended, and ended on a sour note, with Two Tooele coaches getting ejected from the game and then getting the game called with 1:30 to go for the flags on the coaches, one of the Jordan Coaches came over to Robert and told him how impressed he was with Roberts play. He patted Robert on the shoulders and told him to keep his grades up because he couldn't wait to see Robert playing Highschool Football. The several of the Jordan players came up to Robert in the parking lot and also told him he played a great game. A boost to the ego is always a good thing.....
One good thing to point out is this. Jordan scored three times...but stopped them on the extra point evey time. Next weeks game is at 9 am in Tooele for anyone wanting to come and watch. after the game we driving stratight to Provo to go see the BYU vs Air Force game. Tooele is now 1 and 2 on the season with 6 games left. we need to win 4 of the last 6 to make the play off's. Go Tooele!!!!

New things in Tooele

There are two new things in Tooele....First there is a fire in the mountains west of us...and second lauren dyed her hair again......no one is saying either is for the better of Tooele....

Tooele Beats Grantsville 47-0

Well Tooele got its revenge against the lowly Grantsville Cowboys 47-0. Robert played another good game. He started the whole game and had a two tackles. Everyone played great, the team had two interceptions and lots of sacks and scoreing to go around. So much for the defending champs.

Roberts Football 2007

Well Fall is here. Robert has had two games so far. One pre-season game against Grantsvill- the Tooele Rivalry, and one last week 9-1 against Alta. We lost the alta game in a nail bitter when Alta scored the go ahead touchdown in the 4th quarter. Robert is a starting tackle and by far played his best game. He had a great tackle in the first series and after that Alta ran away from him the rest of the game. Netx week, 9-8 we get our re-match with Grantsville, we lost the pre-season game 7-8.

Caribbean Cruise

Well the Tooele Watsons have now entered the world of cruise vactioning, and we liked it. Thanks to Grandma Watson we we traveled the eastern Caribbean with stops in Half Moon Cay, St. Thomas, San Juan Puerto Rico, and Grand Turk. We missed hurricane dean and survived with only minor sunburns. We had a blast. Lots of sun, lots of food and lots of family time. it took us almost 40 years to go on our first cruise and I can honestly say it wont be that long before we go again......

Easter in the park

After church on Easter Sunday we headded to othe park. There was a BBQ, football, easter eggs, bubbles and and lots of fun.....the date say 1-04 but thats because Lauren, who knows everything, forgot to re set the date after changing the battries in the camera.
